5 to be exact!! Eeeeee
I set this blog up months ago just to play around with it for a bit to see how it all actually works and to my surprise it was quite simple, tough part now will be actually write!! I am not a writer but I want to be and I need to be! This blog is a great way for us to document our travel adventure so we can always look back and remember. Kind of like our online diary! Family and friends have been after me as well to create something so they can follow along with us.
So, I can't promise perfection but I will promise, to try and write faithfully!!
This adventure is crazy to me sometimes when I truly think about what we are about to do!! So much planning and thought had been put into the next 9 months it's like I have been planning for another child.
With all 5 of us having dental check ups, doctor's appointments, ENT appointments, our eyes checked, travel agenda consult, immunizations done, and prepping to make sure we have the proper health insurance it was a busy May and June.
On top of that we sold the majority of our belongings, purchased an utility trailer, loaded up the remainder of our things, sold our house, said good-bye our life here and moved to Kimberley B.C. for the summer. We also sold our storage business to complete our preparation plan.
Setting up your life to be away and to move is complicated and stressful at times but to be honest it was extremely freeing. So hard to leave but we were so excited to go, if that makes sense!!
It felt amazing to go through everything and purge!!
We had way too many things and took up a lot of space and that we didn't truly need, should have done that years ago!!
After spending a wonderful fun filled, active outdoor summer in Kimberley we are now back in Saskatchewan to finish up business, do last minute errands and to catch up with family and friends before we fly out Sunday.
